Our soup kitchen is the heart of our organization. It’s where everything began, and it remains the foundation that all of our programs grow from. Every day, it brings our mission to life — nourishing those in need and creating a space of warmth and welcome.
I write about the people behind an organization's work — the coordinator who gets 500 meals out the door each week, the volunteer who has stood in the same soup kitchen since 2014, the chef who brings her heritage to a sold-out community dinner.
At Project Host, I handle interviews and features on a monthly deadline, work with the CEO on the letter that opens each issue, and edit other contributors so a full newsletter reads as one publication rather than five separate voices. The work spans internal profiles and outside reporting, including interviews with leaders at partner nonprofits across Greenville.
I graduated from USC Upstate in 2026 with a B.A. in Communications and am looking for a role in editorial, content, or communications.
